Brothers Parts & Service Pty Limited, ABN 92 058 089 393, (collectively “G Brothers”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting privacy of individuals and complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Collection and Use of Personal Information
We collect personal information reasonably necessary for or directly related to one or more of our functions or activities. We take steps to ensure that we collect personal information in a lawful manner, and out methods of collection include but are not limited to the following:

The types of information we collect will depend on the nature of our relationship with you and usually includes name, gender, age and birthdate, occupation, education and employment details, contact details, address details, registration and driver’s licence details, credit card and bank account details, other financial information, current and past vehicle information and details, location through anti-theft vehicle tracking technology in loan and demonstrator vehicles and personal interests.
Generally, we will only use and disclose personal information that we collect about you so that we can do business together and for the reason/s it was collected, and to comply with our legal, regulatory, industry or workplace requirements. This may include the following uses:
*to facilitate buying, selling, repairing, servicing and loaning vehicles and parts and for any other related purpose connected to our functions/activities
*responding to enquiries/complaints and providing support;
*providing roadside assistance and vehicle warranty, and managing product issues, service measures and recalls
*marketing, event and promotional activities and market research
*to provide you with information, including information of a marketing nature, about our business, services and products, and activities you have expressed an interest in or that we think may be of interest to you
*to facilitate your entry and participation in competitions, promotions, offers, surveys and trade incentive programs and conduct of the same
*administration and employment application assessment;
*to comply with industry, legal and regulatory requirements; and
*for any other purpose you consent to.
We may contact you in relation to the above via electronic messaging such as SMS and email, by mail, by fax, by phone or in any other lawful manner.
Disclosure of Personal Information
During our day to day business, we may disclose your personal information to third parties outside our organisation, including but not limited to:
*those that you have consented we disclose your personal information to;
*contracted service providers
*as required by an enforcement authority, regulator, law, court or tribunal; and

Unless otherwise indicated, G Brothers do not generally disclose personal information outside of Australia.
Storage and Security
We may store personal information on internal computer databases, local hard drives and/or in hard copy at our offices, and we employ reasonable commercial physical and electronic security measures to protect personal information that we hold. We may also engage third party service providers to assist in storing and processing certain types of personal information for us.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse and loss, unauthorised access, interference, modification or disclosure, in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
A Cookie is a piece of information that our web server may send to your machine when you visit one of our websites. The Cookie is stored on your machine, but does not identify you. A Cookie helps us to recognise you when you re-visit our websites and to co-ordinate your access to different pages on the websites. Access, Correction and Complaints
You have a right to access and seek correction of the personal information we hold about you. In general, we will allow you access and correction to your personal information, unless we deem that it is appropriate to deny access in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Where access or correction is denied, we will notify you and attempt to resolve the issue.
If you have a concern or complaint in relation to our handling of your personal information or you believe that we have breached the APPs or any other applicable privacy laws or codes, you can contact us. We will investigate your concerns and will respond to you in writing as soon as possible (usually within 30 working days).
